YSHIELD® V4A10 – STAINLESS STEEL MESH
The YSHIELD® V4A10 Stainless Steel Gauze offers superior HF and LF shielding, with high resistance to environmental factors. Ideal for various applications, it features 40 dB attenuation, 1.0 mm mesh width, and easy processing. Fireproof and corrosion-resistant.
The YSHIELD® Stainless Steel Mesh V4A10 is a finely woven, noncorrosive stainless-steel mesh designed to provide exceptional protection against high-frequency radiation (HF) and low-frequency electric fields (LF). Made from V4A (AISI 316) stainless steel, this mesh is highly resistant to water, water vapor, air humidity, mild acids, and even salty seawater, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
Typical applications include interior and exterior under-plaster installations, roof areas, drywall constructions, flyscreens, and more. The V4A10 can be easily processed with fine and organic fillers for under-plaster applications, adhesives for flooring, and bolts or staples for drywall and roof areas. For best results, always overlap the mesh elements by at least 5 cm.
The gauze offers impressive attenuation of 40 dB, or 55 dB when applied in two layers. It features a 1.0 mm mesh width, 0.16 mm wire diameter, and 0.32 mm material thickness, providing a 70% open area and weighing 260 g/m². It comes in a silver color and is fireproof (A1 according to DIN 4102:1994). The surface conductivity is 0.1 Ohm (square resistance), ensuring excellent performance.
For grounding, the V4A10 should be integrated into the functional-equipment bonding (FEB) using the Stainless Steel Tape – GSS25, which is screwed across the elements into the surface. YSHIELD®’s own professional EMV laboratory ensures the product meets high standards, with independent checks for added reliability.
