Suitable for very difficult substrates (example drywall) due to its high adhesive tensile strength. This paint is finely pigmented, easy to apply and forms a precisely blended hard coating. RFGreen® CPC-54 RF Shielding Paint is a professional-grade, water-based conductive coating engineered to reduce radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in residential, commercial, industrial, and government environments.

Formulated with finely dispersed conductive graphite, CPC-54 transforms standard building surfaces into effective RF-shielding barriers while maintaining excellent adhesion to drywall, concrete, masonry, wood, and other challenging substrates. Once cured, the coating forms a durable, hard finish that can be overcoated with most standard decorative water-based paints.

For installations requiring optimal grounding continuity, CPC-54 is compatible with the YSHIELD® AF3 Fiber Additive, which introduces electrically conductive carbon fibers throughout the coating to improve grounding performance during roller or brush application.

Application Guidelines:

CPC-54 can be applied using the following methods:

  • Roller (recommended for most applications)
  • Brush
  • Airless spray equipment

For best performance, the product should be thoroughly mixed before and during application to keep the conductive graphite evenly dispersed. Apply in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended wet film thickness and allow the coating to fully dry before applying additional coats or a decorative topcoat.

After the shielding paint has cured, it may be overcoated with standard water-based (latex) paints when a decorative finish is desired.
