YSHIELD® AF3 Fiber Additive is a specialized crack-bridging additive designed to enhance the durability and performance of YSHIELD shielding paints. When mixed with our shielding paints, this additive incorporates long, electrically conductive carbon fibers that ensure continuous grounding, even if cracks form in the substrate. This product is ideal for applications where substrate movement or cracking is a concern, providing an extra layer of reliability for your shielding solution.

Note: Once the additive is mixed in, the paint is no longer suitable for spray application and is best used with roller and brush applications.

Delivery Size: 0.09 liters (90 ml)
Coverage: Mix with 5 liters of shielding paint
Ingredients: Water, carbon fibers, additives, preservative (BIT, INN, MIT)
Color: Black
Application Method: Stir into 5 liters of shielding paint using an electro mixer for at least one minute.

Preparation: Ensure the shielding paint is ready for mixing.
Mixing: Add 90 ml of YSHIELD® AF3 Fiber Additive into 5 liters of shielding paint.
Stirring: Use an electro mixer to stir the mixture for at least one minute to ensure homogeneous mixing.
Application: Apply the mixed paint with a roller or brush as per the standard application guidelines for YSHIELD and CPC shielding paints.
