The SD-2 Static Discharge Choke from LBA Technology is designed for series-fed AM broadcast towers requiring higher voltage capability.

Rated for RF base voltages up to 20,000 volts (max), the SD-2 operates across the 300–1800 kHz AM broadcast frequency range. As frequency increases across the operating band, the choke presents progressively higher RF impedance.

The SD-2 incorporates a corona ring to support performance in elevated voltage applications. Its compact construction allows installation inside antenna tuning units or protective enclosures.
