The LBA Technology TC-300 General Purpose Lighting Choke is designed for series-fed AM towers to pass tower lighting voltages across the base insulator without altering tower impedance. Rated at 3,000 VA for 110/220 VAC three-wire circuits, this choke supports up to 25 amps and provides +j5000 ohms reactance at 530 kHz. Each winding includes bypass capacitors for maximum reliability.
The TC-300 General Purpose Lighting Choke from LBA Technology provides a reliable, efficient solution for routing lighting power across the base insulator of series-fed AM broadcast towers while maintaining the desired RF impedance.
Each choke is rated for 3,000 VA, 110/220 VAC, three-wire circuits, supporting a maximum current of 25 amps. Designed to withstand peak base voltages up to 10,000 volts, the TC-300 presents a typical reactance of +j5000 ohms at 530 kHz, ensuring minimal impact on the tower’s RF characteristics.

The TC-300 should be installed in a protected or indoor environment.
